Vintage Art Deco diamond solitaire engagement ring. A well-cut old European cut diamond with good brilliance is framed by four corner prongs. The shoulders feature an elegant chainlink design accented with delicate milgrain. The basket features a tulip-like motif bound in a triangular milgrain frame. The shank at the back is smooth and subtly domed. A crisply tailored ring with a beautiful patina of age. The center diamond is approximately .40 carats, H to I color, I1 clarity, eye clean. Circa 1930s. Stamped 14K for 14K white gold, and tests as such. This ring is in good vintage condition.
