Art Deco 1.22 CTW Old European Cut Diamond Engagement Ring
Vintage Art Deco diamond engagement ring. A scintillating old European cut diamond held by four milgrained corner prongs, is flanked on either side by an openwork design of milgrain-trimmed diamond-shaped motifs set with three single cut diamonds, and above and below by a fan-shaped motif set with a single cut diamond each. The openwork shoulders taper to meet the smooth shank, the meeting point punctuated by an additional single cut diamond each. A dazzling and glamorous vintage engagement ring. The center diamond is approx. 1.05 carats, J color, I1 clarity, eye clean. The additional side diamonds total an estimated .17 carats. Stamped as PLATINUM, and tests as platinum. Circa 1930s. This ring is in good vintage condition.
